  • E-Flite Mustangs differences?

Just a question for anyone, what's the big difference between the two E-Flite Mustangs I see now. Other than the obvious wingspan increase, and basically the same electronics, why did they introduce a second plane? I was about to pull the trigger on the original Dallas Doll, now we have the Blondie!
Any insights to why the $20.00 increase on the newer one...more foam...longer wingspan?

The newer Blondie is easily worth the extra cost. I've flown them both. The slight size increase makes an overall difference that's palpable. Not to mention the battery tray and bigger fuse which helps the battery change out and cg range.

Thanks Ryan, I guess those mods are well worth it. It is still a nice looking plane!

I had both but let go of the DD after flying Blonde.  For one thing, I could upgrade Blonde with a 45 ESC for 4-cell flying.  Tires were replaced with Dave Brown, which are much softer and decreases landing gear stress.  The is a great flying plane and I can see it (larger wing).

The invasion stripes help a lot as well.

When my DD finally reaches its expiration date, I plan on replacing it with Blondie. If I can wait that long...
I need to stop watching Ryan and Mikes flight video! Great looking plane

Yes they do indeed.  Aging is no fun; however the alternative is not acceptable right now
