I just purchased the FMS P51D V8 warplane and MrRcsound system with led gun lights. I watched a youtube video on where and how to install the transducers and card but am not sure how to route the wires for the gun leds. Also any tips on how to actually place the leds into the wings behind the gun ports would be helpful.

Drill or hot wire to get the holes in the foam for the LED wires.
The small hole required... I'd go with a drill.
Not sure where the hole from LE would intersect the aileron servo wire routing in that one... I expect you'll want to pull the aileron servo wires out so you don't damage them.
Then feed the gun light wires in and push the LEDs into place. The remainder of the run is right with the aileron servo leads.FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

Got it figured out. The flap and aileron wires both run down the same channel to the center where both wing halves meet. I just needed to create an additional channel from where my gun lights were to go to this channel which was at 90 degrees to the main already created channel.
