  • Dynam beaver battery location

Hi, I just purchased the dynam beaver and I’m having a hard time , does any one know if the battery actually fits in the acces door under the nose of the plane? Mine came with the zippy 2200 battery. Please help!

Due to the ever changing shapes of the batteries, you might have to shave some foam. It should never need much foam to be carved to get the recommended cell count and capacity pack into the aircraft, but the packs seem to change dimensions faster than women change their minds. Packs from different lot numbers, from the same maker, with the exact same label will often not be the same dimensions.

See which way it goes with the least foam carving.

I have taken to slotting the foam so I can use a velcro strap that captures a decent chunk of foam and the battery, since the sticky back velcro has failed to keep the battery in the aircraft. The sticky back usually comes free from the foam with very little effort.
FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

current planes from 1/2 oz to 22 lbs
