  • GLUE REMOVAL, DRIED.

GOT the PT17 DOWN, repaired and charging batteries, anticipating warmer weather. However, it has large globs of dried gorilla glue. Is the best way to remove is with dremel grinder or what? Should I use grinder wheel or sanding wheel in doing this?

I failed to read instructions on bottle of gorilla regarding the creeping of the contents from the desired spot.

    Thanks all.

Hi Skillet, I have had success removing dried gorilla glue with a new, sharp hobby razor blade. Slice off the major chucks, then use a sanding wheel or rough sandpaper to do the rest. If you use a sanding wheel, avoid too high of an rpm, which may melt the gorilla glue somewhat. Lower rpm and letting the tool do the work is the best course of action.

    Good luck!
