Otter over the beach

Just a perfect flyer to take to the beach before winter sets in...

So what happens when winter “sets in”? Do you get really cold temps? Snow? Do you not fly when it’s “winter”? It seems to me that it’s beautiful there no matter the season.

Hi Calgary,

Winter here averages between 18c to around 7-8c Today (sunday it is 14c with light winds so great for flying this coming week. It can be cold for us early in the morning but I usually fly mid afternoon to late afternoon as it gets dark around 5;30pm (it its perfect for aircraft with nav lights though) I flew at 5pm the other day from a football oval with the Viper & Twin Otter & had so many families young come over to look & ask questions.
