  • Royal .40 trainer os 40la forest landing.

I made my own runway so I could fly from home. After a lot of trying, I finally have a successful landing. So I wanted to share it.

Excellent landing and nice video. Last year I purchased a group of RC stuff from an auction and in it was, to my surprise, a brand new Royal .40 trainer. This video makes me wish I had kept it. I ended up trading it for a V-tail for my Eflite Bonanza and a few other things.

That landing strip looks like a good challenge.

It's a strong aircraft. Crashed it 2 times in the trees. The landings are special. No go arounds.

That scenery is beautiful. I just had a similar "should not have turned" incident with my ultra stick. Landed in a corn field, rebuilt fuse where gear attaches. That could have been worse.

That was that aircraft's maiden flight. I did brush the branch. I guess this is more of a sporty trainer. The wing is semi semectrical.
