Freewing Dauntless SBD

I picked up a slightly used SBD at a swap meet here recently and it flies pretty well. On a take off I caught a rut and ground looped it and broke the prop. I ordered a replacement from MRC but, I have seen a post about using MAS prop which is 1 piece vs the 3 piece Freewing one. Any mods to do to get that one to fit?

Good question, Iowa54. I've flown the Dauntless in the past and there are a couple others at my flying club, but I've never seen one with a MAS prop installed. Perhaps someone else can chime in who has actually executed this modification successfully.

Here is what the owner of the post had said to me in a MSG today.....(He didn't recall having to do a Mod but, it fit really close to the cowl and he went back to the 3 piece original one). I might look for one just to see if it works or maybe even try my Pandora prop.
