What type of adhesive is used to attach a new firewall to a styrofoam apprentice?

Hello LOCKI and welcome to the Squawk.
There are a multiple of foam safe adhesives that can be used and it basically comes down to a personal preference.
Three glues that I have used on foam are Gorilla Glue white, Foam-Tac and 15 minute epoxy.
For a firewall I would go with the Gorilla 1st and epoxy 2nd for various reasons such as strength and ease of use.
Foam Tac I use on non high load shearing surfaces which a firewall would not be one.
There are folks that won't have an issue using it for say a firewall install, but this is where the personal preference/comfort level plays into the selection process.
    Have fun and good luck

I agree with OV10 I had a loose firewall on my Dynam Waco and used Foam Tac to reglue it. It lasted a few flights and came loose again. A little 15 minute epoxy did the trick, not loose anymore.
