Evolution Ignition upgrade

Hello everyone, I have an Evolution 26cc gas engine ion my FW190 and it has the original ignition that utilizes 4.8 volts to power it. All my other ignitions take 6.6 to 14.4 volts. Can I simply purchase a new RxCel ignition for it. I would like to use the Life batteries I use on all my other ignitions. I don't see a problem but thought I would check with the masses and see if anyone else has done the conversion. Thanks.............................

I don't see why not. I think rcxell did the ignition systems for their 15cc, and 10cc units only rebadged to evolution. Those I did run on life packs too
