  • How About a Lockheed Constellation???

Just saw a documentary the other day and the Lockheed Constellation was featured. This would be an awesome bird to have FlightlineRC do!

Why not just buy the ARF from Phoenix Model?

I am actually just teasing, as it is VERY expensive. In fact, I cannot even find it over on there web site any longer.

I for one would love to see some commercial and/or older General Aviation aircraft brought to birth in foam. Not sure there are that many modelers though that are keen on this type of model?

Constellation is one of my top three airliners that I'd love to see in foam electric one day.

I would love to see more civilian airlines or military cargo planes. I know the big money is in warbirds and such though.

+1 on a big foam Connie, in the 1600 - 1800mm range would be great.

Love to see a Connie...Especially in the larger class...I would love to see a line of the civilian classics, and Connie would be a great start.

That was in our local news yesterday. The news chopper pilot flew down to Marana to watch the departure. Some nice video of engine start!

That's awesome. But why did the government let this piece of history rot? It was the first aircraft to use the Air Force One callsign. It should've already been restored and in a museum.

Can't wait for Dynamic to restore it and begin touring it.

Such a beautiful plane. I'm glad this one is getting restored. I built a 1/72 scale model of one in TWA livery when I was a kid. Always has been a favorite of mine.
