Hobbyzone Carbon Cup RTF Transmitter - why 7 channels?

Hi

Just a curious question.
In the Hobbyzone Carbon Cub S2 is a DXs transmitter included.
This is in its description a 7-channel transmitter
Why?
1-motor, 2-aelerion, 3- rudder, 4-elevator, 5-flaps, 6-?? and 7-??
Also in the manual for binding to a another transmitter, a DX6e shall be "enough" for operating this plane

Can anyone explain this to me?

Hi. Two channels are needed the SAFE functions (SAFE and GPS).

So, T A E R + SAFE + GPS.

The optional flaps would require another channel on top of this.

To replace the DXs I will need a DX8......if a DX6, then (e.g.) forget the GPS (which I wont use)
