I recently got back in the hobby after over 30 years, I ordered and built an LX B25 Mitchell (2000mm) and figured before I fly it and the preorder P38 I better practice on something cheaper. I ordered the Hellcat first and was really surprised with the detail and quality for the price so I also got the Corsair. I completely repainted both especially the white wheels, I also ordered some spare props for the B25 and modified them to fit these birds, they are only slightly larger and have very realistic hub detail.

Looking good! The LX B-25 really pretties up nicely with some painting of its various details. Guns, gear doors, etc. Do watch out for the nose steering linkage, some of the parts are plastic and will break at some point, so stock up on spares or look for areas which can be rebuilt with brass. There is a collar which aligns the nose strut, which is plastic, that can be easily replaced with some creative metalwork.
Nice Hellcat also, such an easy flyer.Live Q&A every Tuesday and Friday at 9pm EST on my Twitch Livestream

Yes, that's it...I repainted it and the Corsair. It's a very detailed airplane and comes with a spare propeller. I had a bad retract and a torn aileron hinge which MRC took care of immediately by sending me a new (tested) set of retracts, a pack of vinyl hinges and a tube of foamtack glue. Very good value for the money.
