  • Hobbyzone Carbon Cub Aileron Problem

    Hey guys,
I crashed my Carbon Cub and replaced the prop and both wings.
When the battery is plugged in and controller turned on the plane does it’s self-check with the control surfaces calibration but the right aileron deflects full up and is stuck there.
The left aileron and all other surfaces operate normally.
I can disconnect the battery and the aileron moves freely.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Are you using the same servos that were in the original wings? After a crash, a control surface can get pushed severely and suddenly, resulting in the servo being damaged. You can test that servo with a servo tester if you have one.

      Thanks for the reply.
I was able to get it over to our local shop. As it turns out I had the servo plugged into the wrong port.
I would have sworn it was originally in the #8 port, so that’s where I put it back. Probably won’t be the last screw up I make.
FYI if anyone else has this issue the ailerons go into the #2 and #3 port.

Big Thanks to Central Carolina Hobbies in Greensboro NC.
      Great folks!
