Beginner Cessna Modifications

I want to build my first plane according to this http://numavig.com/plans/Cessna/
The problem is that I don't have the same motor and battery as listed available in my country. I am able to swap the original MF1306-2700KV engine with GT2203 and the original 350mAh battery with LiPol Black Magic 7.4V 950mAh. Basically the engine has more power and weight and lower KW, the battery has more weight and capacity.
Would the plane still be flyable after these modifications? Or should I pick some other motor/battery combination for this Cessna? I am not looking for acrobatics, more into a longer (and slower) continuous flight.
