  • Dynam Hawksky V2

Picked up a Hawksky V2 awhile back and maiden it today. Really nice plane to fly. had 8-10mph winds and it handled those easier than I thought it would.
Took it up high and let it float around in glide for a bit, nice relaxing flying. 2 notes doing touch and goes the landing gear came loose from the fuse. Didn't even look like it was glued in. No damage done. also grabbed a 4s 2200 instead of a 3s 2200 and it handled that just fine. Might have got lucky as I wouldn't recommend that but, just sayin...

Iowa54...I met Jordan1387 at the Davenport field late yesterday to fly. His brother had the Hawksky along. It flew very well in the winds we had yesterday. Has some excellent landings in the grass without the landing gear. I'm thinking of getting one after seeing it fly.

It's a fun little plane. I was surprised how good it flew. I will most likely take the gear off also, just wanted to see how it did with it on. I join the Cr club also. I am over that way a lot so I figured might as well give it a try. Flew about 3 hrs yesterday

Took the Hawksky up again today. With a 3s 2200 I had the timer at 7min and @ 50-75% throttle the batteries came down around 3.85. Plenty of battery left. Couple of flights I went over 20 min. Got it up high and cut the throttle and just floated around for a couple min then back up and do it over again. Very relaxing flier and can be sporty also.
