Extreme Reverse Thrust Air Braking (Phoenix 2400 motor glider)

So Andrej Sturm, (a very talented pilot and clever guy), has been doing some very cool stuff with RC. I have a Volantex Phoenix 2400 motor glider that I need to setup and was surfing YT for related info and came across the following vid where he is experimenting with using a reversing ESC to achieve extreme in-flight air braking. I figured some of you guys might find this interesting...

No more problems with coming in too high!

Interesting but need to practice more for smooth landing.

Considering it was the his first day trying this new technique, I think he did an excellent job of diving vertically straight down from 200' (with full reverse thrust), leveling off, gliding 50' then plopping it down 5' right in front of himself.
