Tragic on many levels.

I was a member of that CAF squadron for a couple of years back in the '80s. Never flew in that particular airplane as it was down for a major restoration at the time. But it was a beauty, lovingly restored by many over the years. I think it was one of the early "flagship" aircraft of the CAF and one of the first acquisitions of warbirds for them, if memory serves. A tragic loss of people and aircraft.
