The Piper J-3 Cub is an American light aircraft that was built between 1938 and 1947 by Piper Aircraft. The aircraft has a simple, lightweight design which gives it good low-speed handling properties and short-field performance. 230 dual-controlled versions were built for the United States Navy with a NE-1 designation.

The Nexa NE-1 Cub can be built as either gas or electric powered, with a large door for battery access. Being lightweight with a high wing, this plane has a similar flying feel to a high wing trainer. Fully covered in weathered detail and including a working pilot door, this NE-1 Cub is perfect for those who love scale planes.

    Features:
    • Complete Balsa and lite-ply construction for rigidity and durability
    • Covered from tip to tail in scale details
    • Large battery hatch allows for your chosen electric or gas setup
    Includes:
    • Nexa NE-1 Cub 2400mm (94.5") Wingspan - ARF
    • Landing gear and wheels
    • Hardware and decals
    Requires:Gas Requires:Customer Note
Nexa ARF models are constructed out of balsa wood and plywood. These are not foam models. The assembly of balsa wood ARF aircraft requires basic model building skills including the installation of servos, ESC, and motor (or gas engine).
