  • More biplanes needed

Does anyone make biplanes other than the Pitts or Ultimate? Would love to see more biplanes lit the Waco, Stearman or Pitts M12. A larger staggerwing beechcraft would be nice. Not enough biplanes out there

I'd also like to see some new biplanes in the 50 to 60 inch wing span catagory. Easy to transport, but still large enough to have a nice presence in the air.

The Dynam WACO is a very good flying model, but they don't have the best reputation for ESCs and servos, so you need to be aware of that going in. Dynam's Albatros D.Va and Tiger Moth are also decent models, with the same warning.

I'm sure there has been some marketing research done that perhaps shows less interest in WW I or interwar era biplanes than WW II and later planes. And, I'm guessing the engineering that would go into biplane models is going to cost more.

With that said, I think a well engeineered Camel, Newport or even Fokker triplane, as well as say a Travel Air 4000 or O2U Corsair might sell well enough to surprise a few people.

        Just my .02 ¢ worth.
