Need some help or sense of direction on a cmp extra 300

I was recently gifted 15 or so nitro planes some of which are older. They are all in great shape like this CMP extra 300 140size plane. I have everything but the cowl and I've looked for hours online hoping to find a used one but cmp is out of business. If anyone has one id be willing to pay for it. My next question is I wonder if another company's plane cowl around the same size would fit with modifications? I'm new to the Nitro world as I've only flown foam and drones so this is a whole new world but its been a blast getting them all going and flying them
