I have this aircraft assembled and the last thing to do is balance. It was assembled just like the plans except I installed a DLE 20. Obviously I expected this engine to add a little weight over the suggested setup. When I tried to balance it, it was extremely tail heavy and it was going to require 3 pounds in the front to balance. I have measured and weighed and repeated so many times I’m out of ideas. With the only change being the engine, how is it possible to be off 3 pounds in the nose?
