  • OPTIONAL UPGRADE / OR STOCK FEATURE FOR FLIGHTL8NE AND OTHER EPO WARBIRDS

LOOKING at my MOTION RCFlightline Sea Fury this morning and thinking about adding some more scale detail to this already stunning model. I know there are pilots that enjoy adding more detail with paint and other detail.
The MOTION RC FLIGHTL8NE WARBIRD product line is a huge hit with the EPO and scale warbird fans .
WOULD YOU BUY OPTIONAL SCALE DETAIL UPGRADES / ADD ON'S FOR YOUR FLIGHTLINE ( OR OTHER EPO AIRPLANE) IF OFFERED BY MOTION RC AT A REASONABLE PRICE ? I would , am I the only one ?

    * FUSALAGE ACCESS COMPONENT WITH SLIDING CANOPY
Replacment part with the sliding canopy and perhaps some scale details to be added / installed by the purchaser .ability to replace pilot bust with your choice .

*SCALE MAIN AND TAIL WHEELS WITH QUALITY LOW BOUNCE SCALE TIRES.
as a a scale detail but also to take away some of the RATTLE as well as absorb some of the shock that is otherwise transfered to the landing struts, retract mecanisim and mount.
*SCALE prop blades With print and logos found on full scale aircraft.

There are more things but these two stand out in my mind as being options you can add on & not be a stock item raising the price of the model for those that don't care about the extra detail.

just thinking out loud ..don't expect MOTION RC to call ,but some cool detail I would l9be to add to my EPO warbirds . Would lI've a sliding canopy for my E-flite 1.2M T28 and Corsair.

I think this biggest and best hop up for me would be metal landing gear with suspension built in. I think of the planes I have spent money and time on trying to source the right oleo or trunnion. I had a drop in replacement I would be willing to spend a large chunk on that.

p-38 lighnting, Durafly Trojan etc, etc

Im actually quite surprised there isnt much of an aftermarket for RC planes like there is with plastic model kits...the field is huge and ripe for the taking..not sure why there are so few who take advantage of it..if I had the proper equipment, Id certainly be making AM landing gear etc.

+1 on nice sturdy functional landing gear . the magic of retractable gear is one of my favorite features on the EPO WARBIRDS. I would spend so.e decent no ey for a great drop in set that looked scale and was built to a high standard .

I'm going to order a few canopy /hatch assemblies and see what I can create for a sliding canopy . (anybody have I e leftover from a crash salvage ?
For me a great deal of the fun is the details that can be done with an airbrush , hand brushing , adding our touch to such a fantastic foundation like the flightline Sea Fury , E FLITE 1.2M T28, Dynam hellcat and so many others .
