  • Hi guys i heave some questions about the p51 rc plane i found online

Hi guys, i am 15 and i love planes, so i am considering buying my first rc prop, to be exact the " Skynetic P-51D Mustang "Old Crow" EPP with Gyro 400mm (15.7") Wingspan - RTF", as this is my first time in this forum, i am not sure how this goes, but if someone knows about if this plane is a good begginers plane or not, if it is worth 110eur and stuff like that. I am also wondering hiw fast the battery dies and hiw much time i need to recharge it, and if it is worth buying the 750mah batteries and charger for smt like 20eur more.

If you’ve never flown an RC aircraft. I would NOT recommend a warbird designed airplane as a first attempt. I would personally Find something more forgiving to fly, like the AeroScout.. it may look odd.. but it’s a great (and cheap) starter airplane and easily fixable.
    hope that helps

Thanks for the quick response. I was wondering if you new where i can buy the AeroScout (mini im guessing) for cheaper as from what i found on online shop in europe and all the mini AeroScout planes are found are more than 125eur, or is that the msrp?

I would stay away from the mini and get the RTF 1.1m version. Yes, it’s higher cost, but you get everything you need to get into the air immediately and as you advance in skillz, the airplane can do more. For a basic trainer it is very agile.
Sometimes HH (Horizon Hobbies) has them on sale.. but $199 is the standard price. I think I got mine for $159 RTF on sale.
        good luck

            Plane Guy,
If you add up the separate costs of your purchases to get you to the field, you’ll find that for the money spent the RTF AeroScout is a better value. But whatever you decide to get, make sure you fly at a AMA sanctioned field.
            Good Luck!
