  • Skynetic This tip could save your model

40+ years in the hobby and have just started flying the Skynetic models. (I have 3 so far) I want to share this tip as it has saved my Skynetic Focke-Wulf FW190 D-9 more than once already.

If you are flying and all of a sudden your model stops responding to your transmitter inputs. Cycle the "Flight Mode" button. I was flying the "Skynetic Focke-Wulf FW190 D-9 EPP with Gyro 400mm (15.7") Wingspan - RTF" and it just stopped responding to the transmitter commands. I was able to regain control after cycling the "Flight Mode" button. This has happened to me a few times and one time the model just went nose down in a dive turning slowly to the right and headed for the ground. I was able to regain transmitter control when I cycled the Flight Mode button. The model was not out of range and it was clearly not responding to any of my stick inputs. When I cycled to "6G Mode" the model pulled out and was again responding to stick inputs.

For this reason I do most of my flying up high so I can build trust with the model.
Transmitter batteries were new and the flight battery was at 4.00 so voltages were not the issue.

Anyone else had this type issue?
