In my honest opinion this plane is awkwardly gorgeous. I decided to create a thread to gather more information on it. RCG seems to have died out on this thread. Reviews on the hk website is very few and little info. For a 1450mm 6s at the price of $289 USD shipped you cannot beat it. I haven’t received mine yet. I will post as I go. From what I know there are a couple of minor gripes that aren’t necessarily a deal breaker and can be addressed.
these in my opinion are the gripes that kind of bother me.
1-foam hinged control surfaces (from what I’m seeing on videos and images)
2- spinner is way too small compared to how the full scale version looks. Also some have reported the spinner may need to be grinded to fit properly. This could partially be the reason why the plane sounds like a gasser. Vibration concerns me so I will be balancing both the new (larger) spinner and the propeller. And even then I bet the plane will still sound great :)
if any of you own this model feel free to post pictures of it, mods and or any information that may be helpful to future steadfast owners like myself:)
