Hi Everyone, I am getting close to completing my Phoenix models P40 fun scale bash . All that is left is the weathering, my list of mods :
modified the cowl flaps from 8 to 4
modified and removed the exhaust added more scale P40 exhaust
Hollowed out the cowl front end to appear more scale and built an insert for the cowl
Painted the front end teeth.
Moving aft, added scale supports to the canopy
scratch built a cockpit
added rear inserts to the canopy to cover the wood grain.
added a warbird pilot.com
cut in counter balances in the elevator
added over size surfaced details that will be turned down with weathering
added Williams brother wheels increased by 1” over stock
added functional gear doors
enlarged wheel wells
Modified the interior for 2x6s/5000 packs
Added Cali graphics
Next up ( not completed ) is the weathering.
