I have an FW-190 Red 8 V1 that I pancaked in a few years ago. I'm in the process of repairs on her. The original spinner and prop blades were damaged in the accident. So I've replaced them with the newer spinner and 15x8 blades. The only thing is that the ESC is the original 65A, and the motor is the 4250-KV580. I just ran her up on the watt-meter and she's pulling a bit over 72A and over 1000W. I'm guessing that this is going to be an issue. Or, will she be fine in the air with the prop unloaded?

I hear what you are saying. And the Mantis 85A is a few dollars less than the FMS 70A. Thanks for your input.
Currently I'm gluing the wing halves together. The original screw holes became elongated in the accident which allows the wing halves to move apart from each other at the forward center line. I think I'm going to install some dowels in the front of the wings to hold them in place in the fuselage.1 Photo
