    FMS T-28 1400mm

I have this particular T-28 I just purchased from a friend at our club. It's either V1 or V2. He told me it had operating manifold heads on the sides of the cowling. I cannot find a manual for this plane that explains how to activate them. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

It’s just a servo. You can Y it to your throttle channel.

I Y'ed it to the gear channel, open on the ground, closed in flight.

How did you use a Y when there's already a Y for the gear? What am I missing here?

Use a 4 way at the controller for the gear.
