  • FMS T-28 Trojan CG

I have an older model FMS T-28 with the opening manifold doors. When I use the CG recs in the instructions, whisc are 80-85 from front edge of the wing, the plane is still very nose heavy. I'm measuring from the straight edge of the wing with the wheels down, and the plane inverted per the instructions. Could it be they want it measured from the closest point by the fuse? The wing goes from straight to a forward angle where it touches at the fuse. I've attached a picture of the CG recommendation. Thanks for any help.

Unless stated otherwise, measuring is always at the wing root, next to the fuse. If you are measuring near the tip of this plane, it will be nose heavy.
Looking at the manual, it shows you where you measure from. For the 1400mm, it's not quite right at the wing root, but pretty close.
