  • FMS F4U Corsair V2 800mm - PNP

I'm thinking about making this my first warbird. I like the size of this plane. I could still put my Sport Cub in the trunk and throw this one in the back seat. I have a couple of questions about this plane I was hoping someone at MotionRC or someone who owns one might be able to answer:

Does it come with an extra prop?
    Are the electronics all pre-installed?
Can you install the AR636 Rx and actually use the AS3X? Or is the AS3X aircraft-specific and won't work with this plane?

    Thanks!

You can actually buy and put in a 636 receiver but you will not have the safe function
Receivers with safe are normally plane specific and locked. The electronics are installed in the plane. A friend of mine owns one. He did not receive am extra when he got his. If you wish self stabilization you could always install a receiver and then add a gyro with self leveling that you just hit a switch when you get into trouble. The Eagle A 3 6 axis with auto recovery is bargain at 35.00. Check them out at motion rc.

Cool, thanks! I just can't decide what to get. I do love the size of this though, but I know it'd be a little more twitchy than a bigger plane. Honestly I'd probably go with the simpler 4-channel Spektrum receiver and not worry about the AS3X, I was mostly just curious how that works.

On the motion RC review they allude to the fact that the props are somewhat breakable but wasn't sure if more than one comes in the box. Thanks for clarifying!
