I noticed this plane has been discontinued , is there a replacement for it ? BTW you guys give the best customer service I've had . I am 50 yrs old and have seen a lot , you guys are just fantastic !!!!! We actually feel that we matter ! THANK YOU

Thank you very much for your kind compliments. At the moment, I believe a new P-38 is in the works but there is currently no time frame. I would estimate 6 to 8 months.

Tom, is there any chance of FMS coming out this year with a larger P-38 that aligns more with the 1700mm warbird class?

A big P-38 would be very enticing...

Or a small one. I would love to see a 800-1000mm P-38 with 4 channel minimum, and 5th channel for flaps if possible...

I suspect there is zero chance of a 1700mm P-38. It sounds like FMS is very concerned with the development costs of these larger planes. 800mm would be a much greater possibility.

A revised version is in the works but not as close as the rumors I'm hearing from people.

Hey Tom. I received a 2014 FMS catalogue the other day and it has the P-38 in it. I know its discontinued but do you have any in stock? Like the others I would love to have one but I guess waiting for the new one would be best...Love FMS and MRC.

On a side note, on RC Groups, Motion is saying a Standard Speed P-40 is in the pipeline. Your competition says FMS is only releasing a High Speed version. Can we get clarification on this? Will there eventually be a Standard Speed P-40B released?
