I just picked up a used one this week. I have a pair HRB 4s 4000s I am going to try and fly in this. Is it more common to fly on 4000s or go lighter?

The airplane comes stock with two separate motor/ESC systems, one battery powers one motor the other battery the second motor. You'd need the 'Y' adaptor to join the two ECS's.

Sure if you have the proper battery adapter. May need nose weight depending on weight.Leave a comment:

Just curious. Can the Tigercat run on 1 4s/5000 battery like the P38?Leave a comment:

Thanks Tony, glad it is a good flyer. Your right about the assembly, had it all together and radio working in about 3 hours. In the process of adding rivits and a little weathering. Probably be ready to fly at our New Years day club fly. Don't think I can convince the wife I need to order the FMS P-47, they are back in stock. Could just tell her the FED-EX truck brought a package for her.

Guys, This is sitting under the X-Mas tree and will be my winter project. Included I have the up-dated L/G, Admiral 4s 3000 batteries. I have the Birdcage Corsair from last X-MAS, how does this fly compared to the Corsair? This is my first twin.
I want to do some subtle weathering, exhaust stains ect. but have a glossy finish. I used polyacrylic clear on my Corsair and like that finish. Any recommendations for good documentation. I have read all of this thread and searching the net for ideas.
Merry Christmas, Rex
Winter project? The TC can be assembled in a few hours, lol. The TC is basically a trainer, amazing flyer, no bad habits. You will love it.Leave a comment:

Our family Christmas gathering was last night and I convinced my beautiful boss to let me open my big Blue Taped X-Mas present. Beautiful Tigercat was unveiled, and she is a beauty. Stayed up till 2 am just removing the parts and assembling the nacelles. Need to decide which profile I want to model. Hope everyone gets their RC present they want. I may post the build process as I go along with some weathering ect.

Evan D,
I have the Mr Sound in my Corsair and love it but just want to get this flyable to go to some electric fly-ins next spring here in Indiana and Ill. Will fit right in with my Corsair and E=Flite FW-190. Thinking of adding some rivits like Brandons video shows, some weathering then 3-4 coats of clear polycrylic. Used the satin clear on my others but may use the gloss clear on this one
Best Regards, RexLeave a comment:

Thank you. I was going to add I put FPV in mine but that probably doesn't interest most people. Maybe a sound system?Leave a comment:

The TC is the best flying warbird there is in my opinion. Period. Not just Flightline, not just anything, the best. Weathering and finish sounds like a great idea.Leave a comment:

I have Both ESCs connected together so maybe not strange that they both stopped, ill try to turn the LVC down or offLeave a comment:

It has the same programming as the Cougar except reverse but the order may be different. I agree that both cutting off at the exact same time is very odd. I just hope you figure it out. I wonder if the time you left it at idle and maybe not getting fully to idle may have happened?Leave a comment:

Yes they are the stock ESCs bit strange that Both stopped?
Can I turn the LVC off like I did on my Cougar, Thanks to your help

If not LVC I'm not sure. These ESCs don't have a over temp or something like that. Stock ESCs?Leave a comment:
