Anyone have the FLRC Bearcat Blue Angels decals they'd like to part with?

I went with the Blue Angles livery on my Bearcat. On the first flight one of the "7"'s came right off. I'd like to get another one but don't need an entire decal set.

Perhaps someone here that didn't use the Blue Angles decal set would like to swap me for one of the other liveries.

I had the same problem with the 106A decale but read somewhere u can iron the decale with very low heat and it makes em stick...when I did it i used a peace of paper over it also as heat will alagator the foam if too much...now I would trade u the 70's for a 106A tried to trade them on rcg but will let you know if it don't work out...if I don't hear from the guy over there by tomorrow ill get back to ya

You may have mine. I went with another set. If you want them to stick well, use micro solution before you apply the decals. Apply to the surface, the decal size and let set until just about dry. Believe me, they will stick then. Just tell me where to send the decal to and it is yours.

I applied mine and then coated right over them with Spar Varathane, three coats. They're not coming off!!

If it doesn't work out I'd be happy to trade you. It might be nice to have a full spare set on hand.

Saw that in another post. I will be doing the same with the Bearcat, Tigercat, P-38 and the Ta 152.

I;m new at this so a few questions if you don't mind.

I think you said in another post that you like to use 1" foam brushes. Why do small on a large area like a wing?

Also curious why three coats and not one or two?

The first coat will sink into the foam and the second is still a bit streaky, but the third nails it. I use a one inch foam brush, other spray it on, I prefer the foam brush for this.

Your welcome, I also did a couple of other paint mods since.
I painted the blue prop hub yellow and used some left over Flite metal in the exhaust guides, looks pretty good. As you can see, I painted the wheels blue and the gear chrome. A few more things to come yet.

There may be something we could all consider, I have a bunch of decal sheets available as well. Maybe start an exchange thread, Hmmm.....
