  • LX Super b-25 Any news

Any news on if LX is going to work with you guys on the electronics or maybe you guys carrying the bird in kit form only??? I dont mind picking up the kit but I dont like to use the fruit. Would snap it up in a heartbeat in either form if you guys stocked it.

I agree...........would like to have a reputable source for parts also. I haven't reached my expiration date on the PBJ but it will come and will need my MRC salvation fix.

Concur.........after about a half dozen anemic flights on 4S, switched over to 5S without issue and haven't looked back.

As Motion RC's Product Development boss, I can say with authority that we are solicited (and often re-solicited) by many brands across the entire spectrum of RC products, from toys to turbines, on an almost daily basis. To each prospective partner we apply the same rigorous standards of quality, value, spare parts support, warranty support, production capacity and consistent availability of models and constituent parts, product life cycle, developmental flexibility, market demand, the product's alignment with our growth strategy and target markets, and many, many, many other factors. Suffice to say, like many of you already know we are committed to maintaining a high bar for inclusion in our product family because our customer family depends on our vetting process. We take this very seriously, and the results are on our product pages.

There are several brands I've had good experience with personally as a modeler and pilot, but some of them have not yet or cannot or have declined to commit to our extensive standards list on paper. It isn't just about making one plane well, or a couple planes well for a handful of containers. We need brands that will grow with us and fully buy into our guiding principles of delivering continually improving products and support to our customers over the long run. If a brand isn't carried by us, chances are it's because that brand has either 1) Not engaged with us, 2) Is currently in evaluation for the standards summarized above, 2) Hasn't been able to meet those standards and conditions cited above and commit to that mentality of Customer First.

A lot of us here at Motion RC have owned and flown LX aircraft over the years. I've owned almost all of their models. But, without disclosing too much about our engagements with a wide scope of potential partners, this "Which brand?" Question runs much deeper than the product itself. I can't tell you how many times I've tested a great product but every other aspect of Support, Supply, etc is impossible to guarantee from the maker, and I just know that if we sold it we'd be setting people up for disappointment, which is the exact opposite of why we exist.

I was just kind of hoping for a group buy or something. I dont need or most of us who want this model dont need lots of what you are referring all of which is great. I would be fine with you guys just opening the boxes checking the stuff and pushing it on if it could be done. I just cannot in good faith spend elsewhere if that makes sense.

LX has long been known as a problem child electrical wise. But I think their foam is A-OK I just really want this model but I Cannot take a risk of giving money to another person who might just drop ship it or anything else that sucks lol.
