Canada? Admittedly, yes. Toronto. 20 minutes from where they built Beavers, Otters and The Arrow. Dominion Sure Seal Instant Clear Coat is available in the US. Perhaps not widely. But, I'm sure American companies make a 1k tough clear coat. No Isocyanates. I sprayed a Dynam Corsair. A few hard coats. It has survived a few summer exposures and it's been good. Thank you for some insight on PVC coating. A hard coating in theory, would hold back the expansion, but physics dictates. Do the Germans have a solution?! I have seen black foam materials in my travels that can handle hot sun and heat, but they weren't EPO. How about a "reverse" mixed foam material that acts like heat shrink. Instead of expanding, it would stay tight in the heat....

I live out in Denver area and at our altitude and intense sun during the warmer months, it will alligator a foam surface in just a few minutes. I usually fly late in the day when the sun is less intense, but you still have to be careful to avoid ruining the surface.

I too often fly out of Denver (Arvada and Jefco fields). I've been surprised that ambient temps often have little impact on this. The added glare from the snow can speed up the aligatoring.

        All the best,
        Konrad
