I have been watching some of the large foam plane builds from Flite Test recently, and then E-Flite just released the 1.5 Air Tractor. Combine those together and I have gotten a bug to build a somewhat large Ag-Cat B from foam.
For several reasons I settled on 1/5 scale with a WS of 101" (though 1/4 scale 126"ws was very tempting). I will be doing the B model with the Hershey wing tips, extended vertical stabilizer, and turbine conversion.
Though with race season right around the corner I'm not sure how long it will take me. But I've at least started.
