  • ROC Swift servo question

Hey guys I have about 8 flights on my swift "loving it" and I have a servo that isn't centering and constantly needs trim. I want to get 2 nice high torque metal gear servos for it but I don't know what size I need. I hear this is kinda common with the bird. can someone send a link for a good quality metal gear high torque servo that would drop right into the swift?

They are typical 9 gram servos. Take a look at Motion's site and just get a pair of meta gear 9 gram servos. Just curious, have you disconnected the control rods and manually moved the elevons to make sure they are sticky. They are foam hinges and such things need to be "exercised" when first taken out of the box. Even after 9 flights, they could still be a bit stiff and this could cause excess work for servos and make them resist centering.

Precisely why I cut foam hinges, and insert DuBro hinges - almost no resistance to the servos, and they won't split and separate in flight.
