  • Just ordered the Dynam Corsair

Just wanted to ask those who have it, anything I need to look for in assembly? Or tuning? I wanted this over the FMS because I was looking for a lighter bird.

I have a few Dynam planes and all are pretty much the same in terms of quality. The most difficulty part of assembly is the joining the wings. Test fit both sides separately at first, This helps with identifying the screw holes. Afterwards, just do one side at at a time. You will likely have to line up by trial and error. They all fly well with or without flaps. I hope this help just a little bit.

We tell you what we did in our video. We liked low throw, plenty of expo and 1/2 ounce in the cowl.

One of mt first planes and I still have it, still in great shape as it has always been a good flyer. The weak point was always the retracts but I've noticed in some of my newer Dynam planes that the retracts work much better, if they do fail the E-Flite 1200mm Corsair retracts are almost a direct drop in.

I'll be running a 2700mah 4s in it so I'm hoping that'll suck up the need for the half ounce of lead

Oh what are the strut pin diameters? Could I use say a freewing retract unit if I used the Dynam mount plates for the twist action? Meaning if the stockers fail

I have this plane and it is a fun flyer . The only bad traits are the same with all tail draggers is nose overs on grass . It is something you have to learn to work with . Very light and doesn't need flaps . The 4S 2200 all the way up front and I get around 5 mins flight time . As with all Dynam planes the gear may have a issue at 50 degrees and below . May a fly by with the gear down before landing to be sure they are down .

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

My dark blue got even darker after I coated it

Oh I know the deal all to well with nose overs on grass. All part of the game... But these did it on the decks of carriers as well, so at least that part will still be scale. :P lol

LOL .... I have gotten into the habit off planting its ass as soon as possible now . Can make for not so pretty landings but its better than a nose over

I really like the light floating the Dynam planes have . And for the price I REALLY like them . I don't feel quite as bad when I tell my Wife I crashed one !!!! Also I enjoy putting the decals on myself that way I can make it the way I want

Yes indeed. I have a Phoenix models spitfire. I was so happy that bird was almost at a dead stop. Then just before it finally stopped... Woooop over it went. Soo close! Hahaha one of those YES! aaaooew moments.

OK, are the hardware and linkages for the flaps supposed to be included with the kit? I remember reading in the description that all was needed was to buy servos. I doubt there's an included y lead. Not a big deal, but was just wondering because I couldn't find any of the hardware.

Best I can remember is no . But I will say that it fly's so light you don't need them unless your just wanted to add them

This was among the first foamie planes that I bought some years ago. The plane is an excellent flyer, and if I hadn't have had a radio failure with it, I would probably still be flying it. I even put it in a tree, and it sat up there for three months before it finally got knocked out. Even after all of that time, through storms and all, everything in the plane except the battery still worked!! A great choice!!

I have flown that plane its very nice and excepts the MrRcsound card nicely!! I have a number of Dynam planes and all that I have all fly top notch for me. The best one I like is the grand cruiser. I recommend that one to anyone who has never flown a twin before.

I bet, I was looking at that one too. I have the Catalina too. Man that is a sweet flying twin too. So much so I put an FPV setup on it
