Can the outer wing panels on the tigercat be removed easily for transport as the wing span is to long for my car. Please be specific as what to do. Thanks to

Hi tbnil, welcome to Hobby Squawk! The entire wing half disconnects from either side of the fuselage. It takes less than two minutes to undo the two machine screws per side, disconnect the single wire harness, and slide the wings off. With both wings off, the fuselage is one long blade. I find it easier to transport the F7F Tigercat that the P-38.

We did not design outboard panel removal on the F7F because of how the wings encounter the fuselage on the real aircraft. The final design is much simpler, and if you read through the F7F Tigercat thread (or click on "View Attachments" to see only the pictures), you'll find that most people are happy with the Tigercat's easy transportability.

Watch around the 11:00 minute mark of our official Build Video to see how the wing goes on. Without Ryan's talking, you'll see the process itself is quick and straightforward.
