I need to replace one of the servos on the main gear doors. Some how I misplaced the control linkages. When I look at the replacement doors on Motion RC the linkages have straight control rods. If i'm not mistaking i believe the the control rods that came with P-47 had a slight curve built into them but the ones shown for the replacement doors are straight. Did FMS replace the curved control rods?

I bought mine (the latest version) from Motion RC last spring…and it has the curved servo arms on the inner doors…to accommodate the relatively short distance required to move the door from full shut to full open…and/or possibly a 'geometry thing' to get them to line up with the full swing of the servo arm…? Just trying to help here…just my 2 cents…don't want to get flamed by anyone that knows EXACTly why or why-not the arms are curved or straight…etc... -
On my P47 one of the control linkages bent different so door would jam gear. Have not been able to fix problem. No luck from FMS. Motion didn't have a replacement for it so had to remove door. Oh well. Good luck.Comment
