  • Dynam Tiger Moth battery size

I love my Dynam Waco so much I'm now looking at the Dynam Tiger Moth. Much like the Waco the planes calls for a battery that is smaller than the 3600's that I have. Can anyone confirm if the 3600 will fit in the plane?

Rats, no one knows the answer. I was hoping someone from Motion would have seen this.

I was looking through the scratch and dent and they have one of these, the box is apparently the issue the plane is fine. I don't need a pristine box if I can save $30.

I'll report back on what I find out.

I did find one review on the Motion site from a guy who has run sizes between 2000 and 4000mAh packs so I think my 3600 should be fine.

None of us have that one in our personal hangars but if you want I can ask the warehouse manager to open up a box when he has a chance and see if he can drop one in there?

That would be great! I ordered the scratch and dent one today, perhaps you could open that one and see. I'd like to use my Admiral 4S 3600's in this plane. They fit great in the Dynam Waco.

It can be put in there but it is a bit of a squeeze. Not sure if balance would be an issue. Check out the photo.

Thanks Wayne, I also got the notice that the plane shipped today, I placed the order just a couple of hours earlier, you guys rock!

Some things I've read says the plane will balance fine with the bigger battery although one video shows cutting the foam to accommodate a Turnigy battery.

I will certainly report back once I get it assembled and balanced.
