Re: Freewing AT-6 Texan
I have the same plane and its just one beautiful beast ! All I can say is turn them way down then look at how they are . You'll notice that elevator really has some travel . I've been told any where from 30 - 60 %. Just feel it out and go from there . Unfortunately I've not had mine up yet so I can give more . Good luck HippieBut Crashing is Landing

Re: Freewing AT-6 Texan
After four flights, I finally dialed the controls surfaces to 50% of maximum and reduced the rudder to 65% (big rudder). Elevator about right for me at 50%. Texan flies with 4S 3600 batter really good. Very fast at WOT! Too much for me, so most of my flying is around 60% throttle. Landings must be with some power or tip stall results. Finally, installed flaps and now landings are really sweet. Probably 30 flights now and great plane.
