I have(had) the Dynam WACO from those "other guys" and thoroughly enjoyed the plane! She was my everyday flier, over 200 flights in 2 months!
Foam hinge failure cost me the plane and now I need another....Will you, Motion, be stocking the WACO?

    Re: Dynam WACO

    Greetings,

A while back when MRC initially announced their intention to carry Dynam products I asked the same question. Below is the response I received from MRC. Granted things can always change.

"We don't have the Dynam Waco in the first shipment. At this time we have no plans to carry it since we already have a RocHobby Waco and they are both very similar in size and price."

I did purchase the Roc Hobby Waco and it is one of my favorite planes.
Like I said, thinks can always change.

      Re: Dynam WACO

There are Freewing, FMS and Dynam planes available by MotionRC of the same model like the P 51 Mustang or FW 190. Because Roc Hobby sells a Waco why can't here be a Dynam version Waco which is 10" bigger and is a great plane to own. I also need a replacement Dynam Waco and do not want to buy it from that "other" guy in California. Both the Roc Hobby and Dynam Waco are really nice planes and both would sell. I hope that Motion does carry that Dynam Bf 110 as I am very interested in flying a twin engine plane because I have never owned one.

          Greetings Baron,

          My sentiments exactly......

There are MANY crossover models/products offered by MRC that, in my opinion makes their response extremely lame. If they don't want to carry a certing model that's ok, just say so. The reason offered just didn't cut it for me.

Perhaps with enough input from us and others MRC may re-evaluate their position.
I hope so as I'd really like the get the Dynam Waco as well and some others, like the Bee Gee.

            Re: Dynam WACO

I think that Dynam GeeBee racer would be a fun plane to fly. I might get it after my other priority planes are acquired. It looks so different than other planes. From only viewing it, one might think it has a tendency to nose over on grass but that is only my guess. Anyone else here have it and if so would you buy it again?

              Re: Dynam WACO

Since a few of you have asked for the Dynam version and it is indeed 10" larger. We will absolutely consider it for the next order. Thanks for all your input guys. We appreciate it.

Seriously, that really is great news and know that your/MRCs willingness to consider the addition of the Dynam Waco is appreciated and once again speaks volumes as to why I/we am/are committed to MRC.

There's another element I don't think you guys are considering, tho. When MRC (or anybody) decides to carry a plane, they aren't gonna stock just <i>the one</i> you want - they're gonna be stocking dozens of 'em. Considering that & the number of different other models on the market today....well, I'd bet their warehouse walls ain't exactly 'stretchable'....know'm sayin'?

                    Re: Dynam WACO

Glad to see Motion carry that Dynam Waco. I will wait until Motion carries it and not buy it elsewhere. The Dynam Waco based on my experience and from many other reviews from different forums is a very good plane and it will make MotionRC some money. When you have that highly rated plane that is well reviewed it makes business sense to sell it. If there only so much shelf space those items that are not selling can be dropped. Hopefully it will mean that Motion can expand and sell even more items.<smiley image="smiley_good.gif"/>

                      Greetings Baron,

Like you, I have read tons of positive reviews on the Dynam Waco.
Having flown the Roc Hobby Waco for a while now I can say that it really is a joy to fly and observe.
That being said, when it comes to the observe part, another 10" of wingspan wouldn't break my heart.

Baron the dynam geebee flies great off of grass no nose over flies very much like the Waco with a little higher stall speed.

I'm ready for the Dynam WACO from MRC. I'd order before the ink dried. My (3) planes I have from MRC have been absolutely superb with no issues. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have enjoyed that Dynam Waco for many flights. It is a great plane. The one minor irritant is that the strut and cabane screws are a bit shorter than one would like. If you have some small and a bit longer screws stored you will find those useful for this plane.
