  • FMS-190 - With New Color Scheme

I recently purchased the new FMS FW190 with the black and white cowl color scheme. I also have found a picture of the real airplane that was flown during WWII. It appears to have a greenish looking propeller spinner. I would like to paint my FMS model to look like this airplane. Do you have any idea where I can find the paint color used for this propeller spinner? Thanks for your help.

    Greetings Crashbergey,

Congrats on your purchase. That's a sweet airplane.

I'm sure you're already familiar but just in case, Tamiya makes all kinds of acrylic paints in associated WWII colors and are used quite extensively by military scale modelers.

I'm sure if they don't have the exact color you're considering, they can get pretty close without having to mix colors. Of course that's always an option as well.

    Best of luck.
