Re: 1st Pandora Paint Job
Greetings Rav,
First off, welcome aboard!
Niffty paint job!! Should be easy to keep an eye on in the air.
There are some really great guys here on the forum that you'll find very familiar with the Pandora and I'm sure will be anxious to swap stories.

Re: 1st Pandora Paint Job
Yes, welcome to the forum. Nice job on the very visible color scheme.
However, I see room for a great deal of improvement, judging by the picture.
There is just too much room in that garage! Its time to get some more planes for that hangar from Motion.
Ha, ha! This is a fun hobby, and MRC makes it easy to enjoy it.
Happy flying!

RE: 1st Pandora Paint Job
It's the middle of the winter here. So not much flying going on around here. Decided to change the look of my stock Blue Pandora. I'm not done yet...work in progress. I like the painting I've done so far on the topside. Got the idea from the Red Tail mustangs. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the underside yet. But I've got time to change and add, because the weather is not going to be good for flying for awhile.

RE: 1st Pandora Paint Job
Thanks Ryan! Have a little more work to do on it yet. I put an A3L into her and the battery sits under the canopy as changing the wheels set the CG way back. She's the old Labrador Retriever of my fleet, steady, reliable, just a good ol' plane.Originally posted by Ryan@Motion/ryramZWow guys! Those Pandoras look sweet! Grossman, yours reminds me of the FMS extra and Evel Kneivel all at once. Now, go jump the grand canyon!

Second that Gman on the foam filler. Have been using a ready-mix superlight spackle which works ok but gotta believe that Foam Tac filler would be better.Warbird Charlie

RE: 1st Pandora Paint Job
Well funny you guys should ask, we did start carrying both the filler and sealer http://www.motionrc.com/finish-and-coatings/ we want to start expanding to allow our customers to repair or repaint their planes to the schemes they want. We are looking to add a line of paints and possibly some airbrush equipment in the future. Let us know what you want to see and we will definitely look at the products. The filler and sealer are under the paint and covering tab. Thanks everyone for their input!
