nice recreation of this plane i have actually talke to col.Bud Anderson truly an honor and he is in great health and still roams from state to state talking about his achievements he has done in the army. He will tell you those weren't achievement just a way to stay alive!! He is a true legend and we need to honor people like him and many others that serve our country. SALUTE !!!

I agree!  We'll never know how guys like that truly felt every morning, getting up and realizing the had to put their lives on the line in a cramped cold cockpit for 8 hours to get to Germany and back, all the while, constantly on the alert.  I have Buds Book, "To Fly and Fight" sitting right next to me by my PC, an amazing read!  The last chapter is about his flight in a P51 years after the war.  He and Chuck Yeager got to fly 2 P51's painted exactly as theirs were in WWII.  His comments on the flight were really great.  My old icon was one of the pictures taken at that event.   My favorite story is when he happened to mention to his crew chief that the green camo was really standing out against the snowy European landscape, he came out the next day and lo and behold, his crew had spent the night stripping the plane down to bare aluminum, their hands were raw because they used 100 octane gas to do the job.  Watch any video of him describing that event and it still brings a tear to his eye.

His cheeks are more pushed back from the G-force, than the others....so yes.
