Yeah the house is on high ground. We're finally seeing sun here. Hopefully the winds settle and I will get to fly again.

I'm thinking at my house we dodged the bullet. It was close. Cypress Creek is starting to go down some and the creek at the end of our street crests at 105ft which feeds closely into Cypress Creek. Cypress is down to 96ft. It peaked at 97.01ft which is 0.3 feet short of 500 year levels. Last time it reached 95ft was back in 1949.

The worst is yet to come. The disease and mosquitos for the next few months while we dry out and recover are going to be awful. Once Hobby Airport dries out I can go up to Addison and bring our company plane back home.
