Having issue with Flaps not working. Flap servos are are all the way forward and will not engage or move. Using the plane with a Spektrum DXe with a AR610.
Flaps are plugged into the Aux channel but are not responding at all. Everything else is working perfectly. Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide,

Did you set up the flaps in your transmitter? Did you choose the correct wing type? On a DX6 and DX9 there is a second screen that you have to go into from the channel assign to set the flaps.

I hope this gives you some ideas on what to look for.

Check this page out as it might help

CDN_Iceman...Thank you for the info. I am new to this and it is my first warbird... I was not aware of the flap setup in the controller. Do you happen to know if you can set this on the controller directly or do I have to get the cable and software download?
      Appreciate the help and feedback.

No you do not need a cable to set the flaps up. You are just programming the settings in the transmitter and then this will be transferred to the receiver via the RF signal.

ok I am back.... so a quick update. I had to get the cable and the programming app for the DXe controller. the AUX 1 switch was disabled. I fixed the setting for that and then tried to test everything out. now when I turn on the transmitter and plug up the battery to the spitfire.... wait for it.... NOTHING.
It has a single beep that repeats and the motor twitches slightly each time it beeps. I have tried to re-initialize the throttle and it does not change anything. Can someone tell me what I am missing with this....I know I am new to this, but it seems like i am making this harder than it has to be.

Have you rebound the transmitter to the receiver again? I don't if you need to but it is worth a try. Maybe stop by one of your local hobby shops and beg for help. Don't forget to make a purchase or head out to one of your local flying clubs for help.

            Just a thought

appreciate all the info... after re-binding the plane a second time everything is good to go and working properly.
just a note to anyone else who has a Spektrum DXe transmiiter: I bought 2 of them and both cam with the AUX1 setting disabled.
