May I ask where you found a waitlist to put your name down for when they come in? I’ve tried really hard to contact someone to find out when they’re coming in but the best I can find is just signing up for an email to be sent. I can’t speak to a live person to ask them. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place.

Hello all,

I got the Titanic but the mast is damaged. It looks like it was broken at the time of packing. Will contact MRC to see if they can send a replacement. I fix it in the mean time to look decent. If nothing can be offered from MRC I will have to fabricate the damaged section from plastic tubing. The rigging was done very poorly with sags everywhere. I have to re-rig to tighten things up. Dai

The broken section was cut off and replaced with 5/32” aluminum tube. Also re-rig as many sections have very bad sags. Dai

Well, I unboxed the 1:150 Titanic in time to show it to my local club, Redwood Empire Model Shipwrights, and gathered some comments that I will share along with own (delayed by unanticipated family issues) after I've finished with exhibiting and running it at the San Francisco Model Yacht Club's 'Model Boats on Parade 2024' major event at Golden Gate Park on September 15th, 2024. Thanks for being patient. I won't keep you waiting for years like it took Motion RC to get the model into stock (and to hike the price significantly I might add). Happy boating, Ron
