I'll drop all my hydroplane builds and ideas for them here.

    I hope you enjoy,.

    Hi Christian,
I'm going to load the Align into my 1/8th 1990 U-31 circus on the ABC 1818 prop in the photo above and see where it is empirically. It should turn it around 30,000 rpm at 150 ampere. I have the Futaba fast GPS All I need is to purchase the 10S lipo and go out to the lake. I need to prep the prop. I think i'll finally try to paint the boat this year... The stepped front sponson on the old boat works well and should corner like my old Phil Thomas SS45. It is skeletonized and light. Its a 4 point at it as rear pads that ride just above the props centerline. But before I load it I'm going to add water cooling directly to the parallel LRK wye bundles. I also plane to lose the thick aluminum turn fin with a 1/16th knife sharpened spring steel fin. All my Hydros will move to the thin sharpened spring steel fin JA showed me. This motor a prop combination in the FE calculator shows an efficiency significantly greater than 79% . I bet my bottom dollar it exceeds that empirically by a longshot.

      Hi,
I had to send the XLX off for repair.

I damaged it by testing an uninsulated motor that shorted while the inverter was running. That fried the XLX. I'd say its less for giving than my hydra ice 200 v2's nevertheless the inverter is on its way back from castle. They have a set non warranty repair fee of 197.00 usd. I'll be off till Sunday and have some motor work ahead but will send the props off to Brian. I also plan to add a Castle 12s Hydra Cobra to my fleet. For T sport hydro. My plan is to have a S and T class sport hydro. I have a 1990 Miss Circus Circus , A 1980 Pay N Pak. A 2 wing school bus Miss Circus from ML Boatworks and 2 Three wing Miss Circus Circus. 1 is a roger newton the other is a carbon fiber and wood composite using hull components from RC Hydro.

I'll leave then 1/8 scale builds here. 👀
What I plan to do now is test the Align 700 MX (Black Karma) in the 1990 Circus. The boat is already set up so I just need to take the time to install the motor and batteries.

It should be an enlightening moment for us all no doubt. I can hardly wait!

Now I have to program the telemetry and have a look at the aux wire function on the Cobra5 . I never got to deeply dive into the XLX2 which is still a great inverter. Alot to do to integrate the full functionality of the 10PX
with the GPS module etc. Its crazy how tech moves. The 10 PX has had a daddy for awhile now.
